Humanitarian Mission of Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Tuvalu

IMG-20150415-WA0007It was on the world news that Cyclone Pam has battered South Pacific Islands on 13th March, 2015. Vanuatu was one of the countries much affected by the Cyclone including Tuvalu. Although compare to Vanuatu, Tuvalu was still way much better but the peoples were really in need of help as well. Especially those who are living in outer islands such as Nanumea, Nui, Nanumaga, Vaitupu, etc. The Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad  has requested National President of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Tuvalu to give the report of those who were affected by the Cyclone in Tuvalu. After receiving the report, Huzoor (May Allah be his Helper) has instructed Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Tuvalu to respond as soon as possible by organizing the humanitarian aid for Tuvaluans.

He added that Islam means love, peace and submission to God. That is how Ahmadiyya Muslim approaches the people by using this wonderful motto “Love for all, hatred for none” (In Tuvaluan “Alofa kia latou katoa, seai sefili”). People of Tuvalu are well known as loving, caring and peaceful people. Therefore by assuring them that Islam is the religion of peace and love and displaying upon them the real implementation of the teachings of Islam according to the Holy Quran, people might accept Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to live together with them even though majority of them are Christians.
